By Ausgleich is a German term for ‘a German holiday’, and this year, it’s taken on a new meaning! The German word for ausgleich are ‘Kirchenfest’, and this year is being celebrated on the 1st Sunday in August and celebrates the freedom and independence of the city of Munich.
This is an interesting idea. I’m not sure what the connection is. Some people may believe that it’s a way of saying “Munich is free,” but I think it’s more of a way of saying “Munich is liberated,” or “Munich is free from all oppression.” The city is not liberated from any oppressive government, but it is liberated from a lot of oppressive government.
In the beginning it was a place of freedom, but now you see it as the ultimate place of oppression. If you’re on the left, freedom is more common now. If you’re on the right, the place of freedom is more common now.
It really doesn’t make sense to me that the city is not a place of freedom. The place of freedom is not a place of oppression.
