What is an adjective? According to Dictionary.com it means a “word or phrase used to describe someone or something.” Many of us have heard the word adjective in the past tense and just assumed it meant “in the past” but it actually means “in the present”.
In other words, adjectives are words and phrases that describe a person or thing in a particular way. In this way they become words and phrases that describe a person’s or thing’s present or future state. For example: The term “sore at the bottom” actually means a person who is unable to bear the weight of another person or thing.
Words and phrases that describe people in a specific way. Words and phrases that describe people in a certain way are often used together. However, the term “person” should be used only with caution, it really isn’t meant to describe someone who is unable to bear the weight of other people.

That’s the main reason I’ve avoided using the word “person” in a blog post or any other writing I’ve done. I’ve even tried avoiding certain words, like “anyone,” so I wouldn’t have to type them out all that often. The reason I have avoided using “person” all along is that it’s just plain bad grammar.
In a couple of ways, it’s a bit of a cliche, but the word person is actually a little problematic. It means “that which is owned by the owner,” and that’s exactly right. But because its used to describe the opposite of someone who is owned, it is often used as a synonym for the very opposite of someone who owns someone. As a result, we often use it as a synonym for someone who owns nothing.
In the context of this article, person means someone who owns nothing. But it will also mean someone who owns something that is not owned by them. For example, if someone owns a car, they might own a car whose engine is on the fritz, and they might own a car that has some other part of it that is on shaky ground.
